Segment fault related to strlen.S

Hello,
This function was copied into my code, which was compiled without error/warning, but when executed there is always Segmentation fault at the end after the output (which seems correct!):

Code:

Then I used gdb to debug, and I got this message:

Code:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
strlen () at ../sysdeps/x86_64/strlen.S:106
106    ../sysdeps/x86_64/strlen.S: No such file or directory.

The problem line has been highlighted. Code for the whole program is attached. I used type cast to suppress the warnings at compiling without full understanding.
Can someone explain the error for me, and show me the correct fix?

SYNOPSIS

       string sha1 (string  $str, [bool  $raw_output = false])

DESCRIPTION

	Calculates the sha1 hash of $str using the US Secure Hash Algorithm 1.

PARAMETERS

	      o $str
		- The input string.

	      o $raw_output
		-  If  the optional $raw_output is set to TRUE, then the sha1 digest is instead returned in raw binary format with a length of 20,
