set_cdscp_preferred_clearinghouse
set cdscp preferred clearinghouse(1m) set cdscp preferred clearinghouse(1m)
NAME
set cdscp preferred clearinghouse - Specifies a preferred clearinghouse to use for satisfying read requests that result from CDS control
program commands
SYNOPSIS
cdscp set cdscp preferred clearinghouse [clearinghouse-name]
ARGUMENTS
The full name of the preferred clearinghouse. If you omit this argument, the command causes CDS to revert to the default, which is to use
any clearinghouse.
DESCRIPTION
The set cdscp preferred clearinghouse command specifies a preferred clearinghouse to use for satisfying read requests that result from CDS
control program commands. You cannot specify a preferred clearinghouse for making modifications, because these requests always use the
master replica. You must use this command within the CDS control program. Exiting from the CDS control program removes the preferred
clearinghouse setting. You must reset the preferred clearinghouse each time you enter the CDS control program.
Permissions Required
None
NOTE
This command is replaced at Revision 1.1 by the dcecp command and may not be provided in future releases of DCE.
EXAMPLE
The following command specifies /.:/Paris_CH as the preferred clearinghouse: $ cdscp cdscp> set cdscp preferred clearinghouse /.:/Paris_CH
