Linux Top Command Output is not coming via Cronjob

Dear All,

I created a small script to get the CPU, GIS usage etc automatically. However when i run this script manually its working , but when i run through cronjob i am not getting any output.

Can anyone please help me on this. I am using SuseLinux.

Hello, If i run the following script from the cmdline it works just fine however if i run it via root cronjob it doesn't write to the file at all. It is chmod 777 now so shouldnt be any right issues. Unable to scroll to the top of the output of a command

Hello, I am a beginner, I have currently Solaris 11 on a vmware machine. Whenever I type a command like 'ls' the screen scrolls to the end of the screen. I am unable to see the entire list of directories and files. I have tried ls |page command, but looking out for a better option. (3 Replies)

This is not a command the end user would want to run. Ever. This documentation is meant for people who are studying the Porcelain-ish scripts and/or are writing new ones. The git sh-setup scriptlet is designed to be sourced (using .) by other shell scripts to set up some variables pointing at the normal git directories and a few helper shell functions. Before sourcing it, your script should set up a few variables; USAGE (and LONG_USAGE, if any) is used to define message given by usage() shell function. SUBDIRECTORY_OK can be set if the script can run from a subdirectory of the working tree (some commands do not). The scriptlet sets GIT_DIR and GIT_OBJECT_DIRECTORY shell variables, but does not export them to the environment. FUNCTIONS
