i tried this
# mutt -s "Test mail" -a /root/Desktop/email1.txt XXXXX@yahoo.co.in < /root/Desktop/email.txt
Error sending message, child exited 71 (Operating system error.).

I have been trying to send a email as ccto a email ID .However it seems the -c option is not working in HP UX system.
It is shooting an error as "mailx: illegal option -- c"
My script isin the below manner:

I am trying to make my own commands in my linux.I thought a command for changing directories will be easy.
I made a simple file amd made the entries
#!/bin/bash
cd /opt/mydir
I then made the file executable and then moved it to /usr/bin.
