I usually put my soap requests in a file.... e.g soap-request.txt

Code:
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
   <soapenv:Body />
</soapenv:Envelope>

then use curl like so:
