what is link? and soft link? how about hard one and symbolic link.

hi, i am in a directory, have 2 files as below
then do a ls -l gives the below
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root system 23 Mar 08 2001 filea -> /adir/filea
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root system 23 Mar 08 2001 filea -> /adir/fileb

Hi team, i am writing a purge script to delete softlinks and hardlinks on linux system which are 3/10/30 days old. To test the script i need to create links with old timestamp, i am able to cange timestamp for files but not for links.
i tried touch -h option but this option is not available on... (1 Reply)

Graphics::Primitive::Insets - Space between things
DESCRIPTION
Graphics::Primitive::Insets represents the amount of space that surrounds something. This object can be used to represent either padding
or margins (in the CSS sense, one being inside the bounding box, the other being outside)
SYNOPSIS
use Graphics::Primitive::Insets;

METHODS
Constructor
new Creates a new Graphics::Primitive::Insets.
Instance Methods
as_array
Return these insets as an array in the form of top, right, bottom and left.
bottom
Set/Get the inset from the bottom.
equal_to
Determine if these Insets are equal to another.
left
Set/Get the inset from the left.
right
Set/Get the inset from the right.
top Set/Get the inset from the top.
zero
Sets all the insets (top, left, bottom, right) to 0.
