How to send mail with sender mail address and name?
Hi,
I am trying to send a mail using "mail" command in unix. I wanted to give sender name and sender address. I tried different options ,but still it shows only mail address(No name).
But I am getting only "no-reply@alert.com" in sender address where as I want as "Mail Alert <no-reply@alert.com>"

I need some help with sending mail out from my UNIX server:
It is running Solaris 2.6 and the sendmail version is 8.8.

When sending emails to the outside world, aix present itself as d_prod@production1.pdc.itercom.org.
This is causing some issue with our e-mail server.
So we need to change the name to d_prod@itercom.org...
Does any one know how this can be accomplished?

Hello,
I am new to perl and need to create a script that will read a file and pull a name from the file and send e-mail.
How can I use the following awk statement in a perl script?
grep UNIXadmins /root/mail.conf | awk '{ print $2}'
and use the output to send a e-mail.

Send file(s) attached. Just put the right path in the machine for the file. For more than one file use ARRAY ref: ['file1','file2']

zipanex
Compress with zip the ANEX (attached) file(s). All the files will be inside the same zip file.
If the argument has the extension .zip, will be used for the name of the zip file. If not, the file will be "anex.zip", and if exist
only one ANEX, the name will be the same of the ANEX, but with the extension .zip.
** Need the module Archive::Zip installed or the argument will be skipped.
** This will generate the zip file in the memory.
