article he linked the "someone" was IBM and their advanced shell-script-writing capabilities. If i remember correctly i even explained there how they made that cunning feat coming to pass in the CAS-installation routine.

when i write the following two statements :
cp /dev/NULL /clocal/mqbrkrs/user/mqsiadm/sanjay/dspmq_temp
