Could it be possible to find common lines between all of the files in one folder? Just like comm -12 . So all of the files two at a time. dir_exists_ok(DIRNAME [, TESTNAME] )
Ok if the directory exists, and not ok otherwise.
dir_not_exists_ok(DIRNAME [, TESTNAME] )
Ok if the directory does not exist, and not ok otherwise.

Ok if the directory is empty (contains no files or subdirectories), and not ok otherwise.
