Use GNU Parallel

Install GNU Parallel and do this:
Code:
$ foo() { echo $*; }

$ export fun="`typeset -f`"; parallel 'eval "$fun";'foo ::: works
works

$ export fun="`typeset -f`"; parallel 'eval "$fun";'foo :::: param_file
