Longhand using builtins only to show that it can be done, (there are much better methods), using OSX 10.7.5, default bash terminal:-

IMPORTANT NOTE: You have asked for TAB delimiters but have shown SPACE delimiters so be aware that this is TAB not SPACE! Hence the hexdump.
Also trailing newlines can be a problem but not in this particular case...

What have you attempted so far?
Also there are only nelines are carriage returns needed with the newlines too?

     dspluginhelperd -- support daemon for legacy DirectoryService plugins

SYNOPSIS

     dspluginhelperd [-v]

DESCRIPTION

     DirectoryService has been replaced by opendirectoryd(8).  dspluginhelperd provides support for 3rd party DirectoryService plugins.

OPTIONS

     The options are as follows:

     -v       Display the release version.

DIAGNOSTICS

     Error codes are available using dserr(1) or from framework headers <DirectoryService/DirServiceTypes.h>.  DirectoryService.framework is dep-
     recated as of 10.6 and OpenDirectory.framework should be used instead.
