Did some reading, it seems to me the problem is this part of the header:
which probably is NOT standard unsigned integer type.
The #ifdef/ifndef and #pragma make me confused with my OS Linux HP32 3.13.0-24-generic #47-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 2 23:30:00 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I conceptually understand #ifdef/#ifndef, and #pragma, but not sure under my present OS whether they are defined or not. How should I fix this? Thanks a lot!

I've google a bit about this and couldn't find an answer. Actually I read that it can't be done.
Basically I've defined the following structure and typedef it as follows.

typdef struct Name Name.
and right after it, defined some API that use it.

request_scroll
request_scroll(3alleg4) Allegro manual request_scroll(3alleg4)NAME
request_scroll - Queues a hardware scroll request with triple buffering. Allegro game programming library.
SYNOPSIS
#include <allegro.h>
int request_scroll(int x, int y);
DESCRIPTION
This function is used for triple buffering. It requests a hardware scroll to the specified position, but returns immediately rather than
waiting for a retrace. The scroll will then take place during the next vertical retrace, but you can carry on running other code in the
meantime and use the poll_scroll() routine to detect when the flip has actually taken place.
Triple buffering is only possible with certain drivers: you can look at the GFX_CAN_TRIPLE_BUFFER bit in the gfx_capabilities flag to see
if it will work with the current driver.
RETURN VALUE
This function returns zero on success, non-zero otherwise.
