I have 8 Tru64 machines here and i want to monitor them. What open source tool i can use? Like i want to monitor the hard disk space,memory,connectivity etc. Before im using Nagios, is this applicable to UNIX?

I am told by the SMARTS admin that he is having trouble gathering SNMP info from these AIX boxes (which are running AIX 5.3.8), because AIX uses SNMPv3 by default. Hi, I have configured check_snmp plugin and using the plugin i am able to monitor the uptime of the switch.
But the following fails

This module is provided for backwards compatibility with modules that depend on the interface provided by the "URI::URL" class that used to
be distributed with the libwww-perl library.
The following differences exist compared to the "URI" class interface:
o The URI::URL module exports the url() function as an alternate constructor interface.
o The constructor takes an optional $base argument. The "URI::URL" class is a subclass of "URI::WithBase".
o The URI::URL->newlocal class method is the same as URI::file->new_abs.
o URI::URL::strict(1)
