Cant update yum what so ever [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found
Hello!!!
I am so frustrated I'm about to snap!!!
I cant hear any sound in Firefox or re-install Chrome.
Every time I try to do anything with YUM inside my terminal (like update or install) I keep getting this error:
I couldn't post the url but its a stupid virtual box link that's holding things up and then I get this error:
I even un-installed virtual box after seeing this message because all my apps in V box has been acting weird. After un-installing VBox this error is still a thorn in my side.
Can anybody please help???
Thank You
AO!!!

Has any seen any PHP or other scripting code that will executive on a 404 "File Not Found' error and then fetch the requested file from a different server? (0 Replies)
Hi,
I would like to know the difference between YUM UPDATE and YUM UPGRADE. The man pages say upgrade is same as update with the obsolete option. And by default it says the obsolete option is turned on, which would make them equivalent. Does not say what obsolete does.

errno
Errno(3pm) Perl Programmers Reference Guide Errno(3pm)NAME
Errno - System errno constants
SYNOPSIS
use Errno qw(EINTR EIO :POSIX);
DESCRIPTION
"Errno" defines and conditionally exports all the error constants defined in your system "errno.h" include file. It has a single export
tag, ":POSIX", which will export all POSIX defined error numbers.
"Errno" also makes "%!" magic such that each element of "%!" has a non-zero value only if $! is set to that value. For example:
use Errno;
unless (open(FH, "/fangorn/spouse")) {
if ($!{ENOENT}) {
warn "Get a wife!
";
} else {
warn "This path is barred: $!";
}
}
If a specified constant "EFOO" does not exist on the system, $!{EFOO} returns "". You may use "exists $!{EFOO}" to check whether the
constant is available on the system.
CAVEATS
Importing a particular constant may not be very portable, because the import will fail on platforms that do not have that constant. A more
portable way to set $! to a valid value is to use:
if (exists &Errno::EFOO) {
$! = &Errno::EFOO;
}
