Is there a way to change the behavior of the gnome desktop manager so that when your iconify a window it will be place on the desktop intead on on the task manager (gnome-panel)? It gets confusing having to loook throught the gnome-panle for the window I want when you have alot of... (1 Reply)

Hi All,
I created an RPM for my application.
After clicking the rpm, I managed to place the files in repective locations also I have "JServer" menus in the "Application" menu (The redhat one).
But the problem is the icons are not appearing in that menu.

Hi guys.
I have configured ftp server with vsftpd. now here is the crazy question:
vsftpd does not show icons besides folders and files and also it doesn't show folder sizes. (4 Replies)
I have two CDE desktop accounts on different server (called this CDE#1, CDE#2) on the same network.
However, my current setup is connecting to the Solaris CDE#1,CDE#2 via Citrix.
My plan is to connect to CD#1 and then somehow connect to CDE#2.

Can you add hover texts (alt-texts) to icons? It is not always obvious what each of them mean just by looking at them. Sometimes it is clear from the url it points to, but for accessibility reasons alone it would be good to have alt-texts as a standard. (1 Reply)

tt_spec_file -- retrieve the name of the file that contains the object described by the spec
SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
The tt_spec_file function retrieves the name of the file that contains the object described by the spec.
The objid argument is the identifier of the object involved in this operation.
RETURN VALUE
Upon successful completion, the tt_spec_file function returns the absolute pathname of the file. The application can use tt_ptr_error(3)
to extract one of the following Tt_status values from the returned pointer:
TT_OK The operation completed successfully.
TT_ERR_DBAVAIL
The ToolTalk service could not access the ToolTalk database needed for this operation.
TT_ERR_DBEXIST
The ToolTalk service could not access the specified ToolTalk database in the expected place.
TT_ERR_NOMP
The ttsession(1) process is not running and the ToolTalk service cannot restart it.
TT_ERR_OBJID
The objid passed to the ToolTalk service does not reference an existing object spec.
APPLICATION USAGE
The application should use tt_free(3) to free any data stored in the address returned by the ToolTalk API.
