testPurpose:

Code:
above test is done to see whether the script able to read names highlighted with red colour from a file.

outcome:
Code:
code is able to read planeName and fields but unable to read dictName. Was stuck here.

Explanation for frustrating answer:
If you see complete threat, story follows like this:
I: is it possible to assign read values to shell variables?
RudiC: No, awk wont allow shell variables. You could try printing all the assignments to a file and then source that file from your shell.
I tried doing that like as he said but missed space between
Code:
.

and
Code:
<

. So it ended up as an error.
very much frustrated thing is people who taught to help not looking at complete threat to understand the problem and wanted me to explain complete story.

Very simple question: RudiC able to understand the issue and Aia didn't, why?

I appreciate his helping nature and time he spent for me. But its not good to recollect the same thing again and again.

I really like people here because of their helping nature and patience to answer silly things even.

I am really sorry if you think I was curt.

Thanks & Regards,
