hi
the Echo was not returning any output, so instead of calling it from the caller script and passing it as a Command Line argument, I derived the File count value in this script.and it worked

I am getting the below error while comparing the month of a file to current month.
I am using ls -lrth to get the month of that file and while using the if else condition i am getting the below error..

The script utility makes a record of everything printed on your screen. The record is written to filename. If no file name is given, the
