How are you creating the "dest" XImage? You should probably manipulate the data sent to XCreateImage directly, before calling XCreateImage() to create the dest image.

The mlib_ImageInterpTableDelete() function deletes an interpolation table. This function deletes the structure of an interpolation table and frees the memory allocated by mlib_ImageInterpTableCreate(). PARAMETERS
