I have requirment in shell script to incorporate multipart email with both html and text.
Here am giving the text version.

I developed the .ksh script and here am giving the script
it should send you the html email if your email browser accepts html. If not, you’ll see the text version. Could you please help me how to incorporate html and text version in the above .ksh script.

I am a programmer, but need to work with UNIX in this particular situation. I am used to the plain "mail -s" command and also familiar with how to send attachments in html... but I now need to send an email (not an attachment) in html format so I can embed links... etc.

I have writed a script that read a HTML file and convert this in a multipart mime fail to send in a mail.
But the result isn't interpreted lika a mime file!!
Somebody can see the error???

I need to send mails from hp-ux with 2 attachments: a text file and an excel file. So I'm composing a mime file which I will pipe to sendmail utility.

Lire::Records - Base class for implementation of the records operator.
SYNOPSIS
use Lire::Records;
DESCRIPTION
This module is the base class for implementation of the records operator. The records operator isn't an aggregator nor a group operation.
It only collects information on each DLF records which will be included in the report.
CONSTRUCTOR
new( %params )
Creates a new instance of a records operator. In addition to the normal report operator parameters, the records operator takes one
additional parameter:
fields
A reference to an array containing the names of the DLF field that should be included in the report.
METHOD
fields( [$new_fields] )
Returns a reference to an array containing the DLF field names that will be included in the report.
You can use the $new_fields parameter to change that value.
