Configuring sshd server on UNIX box

I want to configure and run sshd server on my unix box. I already have that installed.

Code:
[root@gsidev-cloudvm gsidevas]# yum -y install openssh-server openssh-clients
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, presto, refresh-packagekit
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
 * base: centos.mirror.constant.com
 * epel: mirrors.liquidweb.com
 * extras: mirror.net.cen.ct.gov
 * rpmforge: apt.sw.be
 * updates: centos.mirror.constant.com
Setting up Install Process
Package openssh-server-5.3p1-94.el6.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Package openssh-clients-5.3p1-94.el6.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do

But when I am trying to check whether its configured, installed and running with the following command it says the following.

Code:
[gsidevas@gsidev-cloudvm ~]$ which ssh
/usr/bin/ssh

[gsidevas@gsidev-cloudvm ~]$ which sshd
/usr/bin/which: no sshd in (/home/gsidevas/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.3-p448/bin:/home/gsidevas/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.3-p448@global/bin:/home/gsidevas/.rvm/rubies/ruby-1.9.3-p448/bin:/home/gsidevas/.rvm/bin:/usr/lib64/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/home/gsidevas/.rvm/bin:/home/gsidevas/.rvm/bin:/usr/local/hadoop/bin)

How can I start, configure and run sshd on my machine? Please guide.
