1st thing 1st, I misspelled your name in the previous post and sorry for that!
I am thinking that you are creating a new mksysb when you execute mkdvd command.

I ran mkdvd on many occasions, but I always select 'yes' for "Use an existing mksysb image", My mksysb goes to a particular filesystem on the local host.

Now coming to the actual menu, (partial output is pasted below)
