Hi,

Using the above code i'm able to validate the datafile by referring to configuration file for datatype, field length and nullable values, and able to generate the bad records .
Suppose if my bad records are like below:
Code:
id,name,state,street_No
abc,john,MI,201,
333,Richard,CA,21Q
444,Reet5,NY,258
66,Merry,,3333
77,,,22

Suppose if i want to add the error codes in to each bad record, means if the record is invalid in terms of datatype then it's 01,in terms of field length then 02 and if interms of 02 then 03. If the record is invalid in terms of datatype and
field length then it should show both the error codes either in the same line or as different lines.
Expected bad record file with error code attached to the end of each record is :
Code:
id,name,state,street_No
abc,john,MI,201,01
333,Richard,CA,21Q,01,02
444,Reet5,NY,258,02
66,Merry,,3333,03
77,,,22,03

OR
Code:
id,name,state,street_No
abc,john,MI,201,01
333,Richard,CA,21Q,01
333,Richard,CA,21Q,02
444,Reet5,NY,258,02
66,Merry,,3333,03
77,,,22,03

How this can be done ?

NAME
lr_environment - Export Lire configuration in shell script form SYNOPSIS
eval `lr_environment` DESCRIPTION
The lr_environment command is used to import the Lire configuration in Lire shell scripts. All of Lire configuration variables will be written in a format that can be evaled by the shell. Shell scripts don't usually have to use that command, since it is done by the defaults file sourced by each command. The old names used by when the configuration was done in shell script are also exported by this script for backward compatibility. AUTHOR
