Yes... To do the same thing with more, you can
1) run more filename
2) hit the spacebar

...Or install the third-party brute-forcing utility expect, which will allow you to laboriously manhandle interactive applications via a strange new language and a pretend terminal.

It's intentionally difficult for a program to pretend to be a human sitting at the keyboard.
