cd
mkdir lib
cd lib
ln -s /usr/lib/libtiff.so.4 libtiff.so.3
cd

and add this in your .profile

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH${LD_LIBRARY_PATH:+:}$HOME/lib
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH

HI, I am dynamically loading shared libraries using shl_load(). There are multiple processes (50 or more) which loads the same shared library.
