How to grep exact string with quotes and variable?
As the title says I'm running a korn script in attempts to find an exact match in named.conf
finddomain.ksh
domains.txt
In the named.conf or thezah.inc I'm looking for exactly "hosangit.com" not hosangit.com.br or site1.hosangit.com but just hosangit.com and the same thing goes for djzah.com
I'm running on a old SunOS server
I found running the following worked
The issue is if I try and run a variable it won't work because of the single quote won't see the variable $domain
I also tried to breakout by putting a \ in front of $domain but still no luck so I'm hoping I could get a push in the right direction.
Thank you
