I have tried both the links that you have specified. The first link has one difference to my problem. The person there was converting a BIOS installation to UEFI but I am already in UEFI. Plus, the command line options for grub-efi-amd64 like
--bootloader-id and
--removable are no longer supported. If you want I can probably provide my
man page to you.
The second link does not tell me how to make the grub bootable image. I need to know that since
update-grub fails for me.

Hi, I installed solaris 10 a few weeks ago. It was working fine during the past two weeks. However, now when I start to load to the drive, I get this problem:

Hi,
I am trying to install the linux boot loader (GRUB) on a non-linux machine (Unixware 7.1.1). The thing is I want to boot the linux kernel (vmlinuz) and the linux ram disk (initrd.img) from unixware and boot the machine with it. Does anyone have a good way to do this? (10 Replies)

grub-glue-efi - generate a fat binary for EFI
SYNOPSIS
grub-glue-efi [OPTION...] [OPTIONS]
DESCRIPTION
grub-glue-efi processes ia32 and amd64 EFI images and glues them according to Apple format.
Glue 32-bit and 64-bit binary into Apple universal one.
-3, --input32=FILE
set input filename for 32-bit part.
-6, --input64=FILE
set input filename for 64-bit part.
-o, --output=FILE
set output filename. Default is STDOUT
-v, --verbose
print verbose messages.
-?, --help
give this help list
--usage
give a short usage message
-V, --version
print program version
