remove that * and replace with localhost in default conf file and then add vhost entry

Example:
Code:
<VirtualHost sitetest:80>
    ServerName sitetest
    DocumentRoot ...
    ErrorLog ...
    CustomLog  ...
</VirtualHost>

and in /etc/hosts add entry of sitename

restart apache
