Debian Debian 6.06 No Common CD-Rom Detected

Hello everyone,
I need immediate help with installation of Debian Squeeze 6.06 amd64. I am getting the error "No common CD Rom Detected" and I am installing from a DVD drive. I did some research and found out that you need kernel version 2.6.1.8 for newer hardware. But the problem is that kernel version 2.6.1.8 is not available for Debian Squeeze 6.06.

Can someone help me with this problem ? I have no option left other than to download Wheezy. Smilie

Can I install the drivers in the install phase itself via the shell ?

PC Specs are-:
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte H77M-D3H
  • BIOS version: 2.7
  • OS: Windows 8.1 x64
  • Bootmode: UEFI
  • RAM: 8 GB DDR3
  • 1 DVD R/RW Drive
