Hi,
This Script contains update statements and running without error.
But the update result is not getting reflected in the database. i.e may be Script fails to connect to the database.
it would be of great help if you could figure out the problem.

i have script say some_script.ksh that takes an argument
I need to run some_script.ksh in background parallely at the sametime with different arguments.
Once all the background jobs complete, i need to run this script again in parallel with another 5 set of arguments.

Hi All,
Windows Platform. Perl Scripting.
I have a file called 'hostnames.txt' contains hostname entries one by one line.
Script has to perform the following command for each entry in that file.
ovtopofix -G <hostname>
Please anybody give me the script on this requirement.

I have a local linux machine in which the files are dumped by a remote ubuntu server. If the process in remote server has any problem then empty files are created in local machine. Is there any way using perl script to check if the empty files are being created and delete them and then run a shell... (2 Replies)

I need to run an alias from a k-shell script ,for example 10204, which points to :
source $ORACLE_BASE/scripts/cshrc/10204/.cshrc
Meaning , I need to run in my k-shell script with the env settings parameters of the alias.
How to do it in k-shell?

Test::Valgrind::Command::PerlScript - A Test::Valgrind command that invokes a perl script. VERSION
Version 1.13 DESCRIPTION
This command is meant to abstract the argument list handling of a "perl" script. METHODS
This class inherits Test::Valgrind::Command::Perl. "new file => $file, [ taint_mode => $taint_mode ], ..." The package constructor, which takes several options : o $file is the path to the "perl" script you want to run. This option is mandatory. o $taint_mode is actually handled by the parent class Test::Valgrind::Command::Perl, but it gets special handling in this subclass : if "undef" is passed (which is the default), the constructor will try to infer its right value from the shebang line of the script. Other arguments are passed straight to "Test::Valgrind::Command::Perl->new". "file" Read-only accessor for the "file" option. SEE ALSO
