Makefile issue during porting.

Hello Forum memebers,

I am kshyap kumran from bangalore india.

I working on porting project from solaris to linux ie C++ application porting from solaris to linux.while compiling on linux box i facing some issues.As i am new to linux environment i was blocked in the below mentioned issue.

ISSUE:
example path: /vobs/app/system/abe/ folder some config files are there.from this path while compling the application linking to solaris config file. in make file the path is
......................................................................
# ABE stuff
ABE_HOME = $(TOP)/system/abe4.6.1
ABE_INCPATH = -I$(ABE_HOME)
ABE_LIBPATH = -L$(ABE_HOME)/abe
ABE_LIBS = -lABE -lposix4 -lpthread
ABE_DEFINES =
..................................................................

from abe folder taking sun_config5.5.6.h. i am not able to understand how its is taking directly that config file without any hardcoding.

I am looking forward from you.

Thanks
Kshyap.
