Operating Systems Solaris ISSUE : bash: cd: /rep/prok: Permission denied Post 302871331 by Don Cragun on Wednesday 6th of November 2013 01:27:08 AM

You can't cd into a directory that doesn't grant you search permission.
The permissions:
Code:
user:s109552:r-- #effective:r--

should probably be:
Code:
user:s109552:r-x #effective:r-x

assuming that you don't want user s109552 to create files in nor remove files from that directory.
