One last modifications..How about if I want to calculate the first hit. for example instead of calculating the average, I want to filtered out the repeated occurrences. For example;
The output would be only the first hit;
and ignore the rest repeated occurrences.

My old school way is a one liner. And will search for average from SAR, to get the data receive rate. But, I dont think it is practical or accurate,. Because it calculates to off peak hours. Igawk is a simple shell script that adds the ability to have ``include files'' to gawk(1).
AWK programs for igawk are the same as for gawk, except that, in addition, you may have lines like
@include getopt.awk
in your program to include the file getopt.awk from either the current directory or one of the other directories in the search path.
