Anyone is well-versed to use egrep to search a file for a line containing both:
1) AAA
2) $
I am having problem escaping the dollar sign when using egrep in conjunction with satisfying AAA as well.
E.g. Text file
Line 1 AAA
Line 2 $$$
Line 3 AAA BBB $
Line 4 $$$ BBB AA

We develop a file in windows and move to unix box as a part of deployment. When we do this, we get ctrl-M(^M) character added to the file. I am trying to create files with special characters in its filenames for testing purposes. This is on a Linux RHEL4 but this should also be applicable on a Unix shell.
I am able to create files with special characters in the filenames...e.g.
cp -pv foo.gif \*special.gif

I have a data file in UNIX which i am trying to load into Oracle table using Oracle SQL Loader.

But it returns multiple times same file name i.e if the text found in a file 4 times the file name shown 4 times in the o/p

NAME
RDF::Query::Plan::NamedGraph - Executable query plan for named graphs.
VERSION
This document describes RDF::Query::Plan::NamedGraph version 2.908.
METHODS
Beyond the methods documented below, this class inherits methods from the RDF::Query::Plan class.
"new ( $graph, $plan )"
"execute ( $execution_context )"

Returns the graph variable.
"pattern"
Returns the query plan that will be used with each named graph in the model.
"distinct"
Returns true if the pattern is guaranteed to return distinct results.
"ordered"
Returns true if the pattern is guaranteed to return ordered results.
"plan_node_name"
Returns the string name of this plan node, suitable for use in serialization.
"plan_prototype"
Returns a list of scalar identifiers for the type of the content (children) nodes of this plan node. See RDF::Query::Plan for a list of
the allowable identifiers.
"plan_node_data"
Returns the data for this plan node that corresponds to the values described by the signature returned by "plan_prototype".
