Thank you gacanepa. Actually as per that old thread link, Neo / PxT suggested for N/W programming books to become a great Unix person. So I tried to search Rich Stevens books and I'm confused with the below book currently available:

Unix Network ProgrammingThe Sockets And Networking API (volume - 1) 3rd Edition 3rd Edition by Stevens W. Richard, Rudoff M. Andrew, Fenner Bill (Publisher: Prentice-Hall (2010))
Link: Unix Network ProgrammingThe Sockets And Networking API (volume - 1) 3rd Edition 3rd Edition - Buy Unix Network ProgrammingThe Sockets And Networking API (volume - 1) 3rd Edition 3rd Edition by Stevens W. Richard|Author; Rudoff M. Andrew|Author; Fenne

So I want to be sure if I can go for this book. Smilie

Cheers,
Saps.
