I have a perl script with two functions say func a and func b.

I want to use this function on command line as we can do in shell script using getopt.

Hi there, I have an example basic script (below) and ive been trying to figure out how to stop multiple arguments to my options occuring. for example using the example script below I can issue two arguments for, say the --surname option and it will not barf at me (although thats what i want it to... I am reading arguments passed to a C++ program which accepts long options.
Long options start with '--', with the value joined with the option by an = sign, with no intervening spaces.
An example is as follows:
programName --vdz=15.0

I have a ksh script (script1) that calls another ksh script (script2). If script2.ksh hangs or takes too long to execute I want script1.ksh to kill the call to script2.ksh and instead just display "Script2 can't run right now". Could someone help me with coding this? (1 Reply)

I created a program, so a kid can practice there math on it. It dispenses varies math problems and the kid must input an answer. I also want it to grade the work they have done, but I can't find the best place for it to print out the grade.
