Find repeated word and take sum of the second field to it ,for all the repeated words in awk
Hi below is the input file, i need to find repeated words and sum up the values of it which is second field from the repeated work.Im trying but getting no where close to it.Kindly give me a hint on how to go about it

I have a file in which a word is repeated more than one time and I want to know how many times it is repeated.
ex: if i repeated word 'guru' in 10 lines I can get the o/p as:
cat filename | grep -c 'guru'.

DESCRIPTION
This function sorts an array such that array indices maintain their correlation with the array elements they are associated with.
This is used mainly when sorting associative arrays where the actual element order is significant.
PARAMETERS
o $array
- The input array.
o $sort_flags
- You may modify the behavior of the sort using the optional parameter $sort_flags, for details see sort(3).
RETURN VALUES
Returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure.
EXAMPLES

arsort(3) example

arsort($fruits);

The above example will output:
