The OP should also consider reading manual pages before asking for help. Both of these questions are fundamental and both are answered in their respective manuals.
Depending on others to provide answers is an excellent way to learn as little as possible. You will never achieve competency if you limit your exposure to correct answers provided by others. Much more is learned via research, experimentation, blunders, and dead ends.
And if after a few dead ends the answer is not found, there are experts here happy to help.
