SFTP script to automate login in to remote server

I actually did see that script when I searched and tried it. Unfortunately it's just ftp, I was trying to do that with sFTP and it would get stuck in interactive mode and wouldn't connect. I couldn't find anything solid regarding that so that's why I asked. Thanks again for your help. I appreciate everyones input, as a newb that I am

I have a weird issue, I have RHEL 5.7 running with openssh5.2 where sftpgroup OS group is chroot. I see the difference difference in timestamp on files, when I login via ssh and SFTP, I see four hour difference, is something missing in my configuration.
