this:printf "cp /path/to/app.app/folder/"$x".plist" >> /var/mobile/z_folder/"$x".sh
or this?:
printf "cp /path/to/app.app/folder/""$x"".plist" >> /var/mobile/z_folder/"$x".sh
??
I think the first two didn't work for me... do they for you ?

I have written a script to retrieve phone numbers from an error log and output the phone numbers into an text file. I've created following script:

touch $setA/$var1
...
fi
I would like now the repeat the command touch (in this example) for different variables.

i've found lots of example commands for bash, but not for tcsh.

Mac::AETE::App - reads the Macintosh Apple event dictionary from an application.
SYNOPSIS
use Mac::AETE::App;

DESCRIPTION
The App module simplifies reading the Apple event dictionary from an application. It will launch the application if necessary to obtain
the dictionary.
Methods
new Example: ($name is the name of the application.)

read (Inherited from Mac::AETE::Parser.)
Reads the data contained in the AETE resource or handle. Example:

Sets the output formatter used during by the 'write' subroutine. Example:

$app->set_format($formatter);

Copies all suites from one Parser object into another. Example:
