Thx Corona688
I'm extremely new to the script writing and just don't get it but I'm putting it together. I understand the "echo "dir already exist" thx I will make that change.
I don't know what you're talking about, I didn't mention that.

But i'm not understanding the "exit 1"
It means, quit the script early with an error code. All programs return a number when they quit. Zero means success. Nonzero means failure of some sort. 'if' statements use these codes.

An are you saying I could've wrote
if ! -d /home/AC_Drywall/MIS/Production/Marketing /home/AC_Drywall/MIS/Project1/...... all on one line and it would've created all of them with out doing it over and over again.
No, I'm saying you could've done:
...and it would create them all without going through it over and over again.
You don't need -d at all. mkdir -p checks for you.
You can put any command in an if-statement, mkdir included. Any command returns an error code.
I am trying to create a menu, and the script fails on ln 38 (Files in pwd). Any idea on where the problem is??
Thanks for the help

dpns-mkdir
DPNS-MKDIR(1) DPNS User Commands DPNS-MKDIR(1)NAME
dpns-mkdir - make DPNS directory in the name server
SYNOPSIS
dpns-mkdir [-m mode] [-p] path...
DESCRIPTION
dpns-mkdir creates the specified DPNS directories in the name server.
This requires write permission in the parent directory. The owner ID and group ID of the new directories are set to the requestor's real
user ID and group ID, respectively.
path specifies the DPNS pathname. If path does not start with /, it is prefixed by the content of the DPNS_HOME environment variable.
The dpns-mkdir command has the following options:
-m specifies the mode to be used. Default mode is 777.
-p creates all the non-existing parent directories first. The mode set for the created intermediate directories is the logical differ-
ence between 0777 and the user umask but at least 0300.
EXIT STATUS
This program returns 0 if the operation was successful or >0 if the operation failed.
