RedHat Not authenticating in apache server site for a folder

hi ,

Im configuring web site with authencation to a folder but the authentication is not happening.
below is the conf file of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

Code:
<VirtualHost 192.168.1.4:80>
     DocumentRoot /var/www/html/
     ServerName redhatclient.example.com

Wget, download file from site's folder.

Ok, this is quite weird. wget -r mysite.com/mylink/ should get all the files recursively from the 'mylink' folder. The problem is that wget saves an index.html file!
