Postfix - want to send email to some non-existent user using alias
Hi,
I know how to use email redirection using /etc/aliases file + postfix combination and it is working fine for existing users.
The question I have is: I want to send an email to
tony@server1.example.com while tony user is actually not there. Rather, I want to redirect that email to
todd@server1.example.com I can redirect if "tony" exist on this server1.example.com - but when it doesn't exist on server1.example.com, then the mail delivery fails and bounce back to original server sending that email.
Is there any way to work around it? I dont want to create that user "tony" but still want to receive his email to "todd" account using email redirection.
thanks.
