yes I used single and double quotes both but did not work.

Supressing error while using grep command

I am tryin to grep some pattern in file and redirecting it in to another file. If the file doesn't exist then it should not throw error. eg : grep "pattern" "$path1/filename" >> newfile I have multiple number of grep statement like this. so i cant check each and every is exist or not... ... htmlspecialchars_decode - Convert special HTML entities back to characters

SYNOPSIS
string htmlspecialchars_decode (string $string, [int $flags = ENT_COMPAT | ENT_HTML401]) DESCRIPTION
This function is the opposite of htmlspecialchars(3). It converts special HTML entities back to characters. The converted entities are: &, " (when ENT_NOQUOTES is not set), ' (when ENT_QUOTES is set), < and >. PARAMETERS
o $string - The string to decode. o $flags - A bitmask of one or more of the following flags, which specify how to handle quotes and which document type to use. The default is ENT_COMPAT | ENT_HTML401.
