"How To Use sed To Remove Text Between '/*'?"

Post #302783677 by Yoda on Wednesday 20th of March 2013 08:12:17 PM

Code:
/\*[^*]*\*/

/ - Begin search pattern

\* - Starts with asterisks * ( It is escaped \* because meta-character)

[^*] - Followed by any character other than ^ asterisks * (It not escaped because meta-characters loose there special meaning inside [ ])

* - Zero or more occurrences

\* - Followed by asterisks *

/ - End search pattern
