Sound not working in laptop model Lenovo T430
Hi I have a new TP installed with RHEL 6.0, sound not working in this.
I tried to upgrade the kernel to 2.6.32-279.el6.i686 and also 2.6.32-279.19.1.el6.i686 but getting kernel panic with these kernels.
Any idea what is problem ????

Hello Friends,
I have installed Solaris 10 on on Sun Virtual Box. I am able to browse internet on solaris 10 thru firefox, however I am not getting sound, there is cross on the tray icon of sound.
Please help with this !!

snd_maestro -- ESS Maestro bridge device driver
SYNOPSIS
To compile this driver into the kernel, place the following lines in your kernel configuration file:

device snd_maestro
Alternatively, to load the driver as a module at boot time, place the following line in loader.conf(5):
snd_maestro_load="YES"
DESCRIPTION
The snd_maestro bridge driver allows the generic audio driver sound(4) to attach to ESS Maestro based sound chips. This chipset is very pop-
ular in notebook computers, but it is also very used in a wide selection of cheap OEM sound cards.

The snd_maestro driver supports the following PCI sound cards:
