Can Anyone tell me how to write the Script to "find file(s) in a directory that is being accessed in last 5 minutes, and if there is result of that find, then throw the mail ".
Means throw the mail to a person regarding whoever and whenever a file is accessed in a directory.

I can do an ls -l CD* and see the following CDTEST userA RW RW R and I an logged on as userA. But if I do an ls -l the file does not appear. If I do a vi CDTEST it tries to create a new file named CDTEST. If I do a mv or rm I get the message no file of name CDTEST found. Any idea what is going on.... (3 Replies)

gretl is an econometrics package, built around a shared library which may be accessed using a command-line client program (gretlcli) or a
graphical user interface (gretl_x11). The program gretl is a wrapper script that calls the GUI if the DISPLAY environment variable is set,

OPTIONS
These are the options supported by the gretl_x11 program; gretlcli is a little different.
-r script, --run script
Open a script.
-c, --dump
Dump the configuration file.
-d database, --db database
Open a local database.
-e, --english
Force use of English.

-w database, --webdb database
Open a remote database.
-h, --help
Give help information and exit.
-v, --version
Give version information and exit.
