Formatting Shell script output to Excel
I am facing a problem formatting the output of my shell script in excel.
We are directing the output of the script to an excel sheet and need long integer type data printed in Excel as it is (i.e. not in the default scientific notation).
Also, leading zeroes(if any) in the output are getting truncated in the excel file.
For example:
Output of the shell script: 012310004594882
Current output from Excel: 1.231E+13
Desired output in Excel sheet: 012310004594882
Could someone help me with this.
I am using ksh.

This is the name of the loop. It's used to identify within the parameter set what variables to expose to the children nodes each

USAGE
<loop name="LOOPY">

</loop>
In the above example, the children nodes would have access to the LOOPY array of hashes as parameters. Each iteration through the array
would expose a different hash of parameters to the children.
These loops work just like HTML::Template's loops. (I promise I'll give more info here!)
There is one difference - I prefer using Perl-like scoping, so accessing of variables outside the LOOP scope from within is perfectly
acceptable. You can also hide outside variables with inner values, if you desire, just like Perl.
