Dear i have two internal disks in one production system some LVs are created in hdisk0 and the remaining are created in hdisk1 i want to move all this LVs to hdisk0 and make the hdisk1 free to install my application .

Hi,
Physical volume of vg was removed permanently by acident. What I need right now is to remove all vg's objects(vg itself, vg's lvs, vg's filesystems) to prepare to add new pv and create new volume group and it's objects.

Hello all,
Fairly simple question here. I know that in Solaris 10 there is a way to tell a system running solaris 10 to init 0 and then boot disk1 all in the same command line from a SSH window. That way once you hit enter it then performs the init 0 and then does the boot disk1. ... (2 Replies)

SYNOPSIS
strclean [-a age] [-d logdir]
DESCRIPTION
strclean is used to clean up the STREAMS error logger directory on a regular basis (for example, by using cron. By default, all files with
names matching error.* in /var/adm/streams that have not been modified in the last three days are removed.
OPTIONS
The following options are supported:
-a age The maximum age in days for a log file can be changed using the -a option.
-d logdir A directory other than /var/adm/streams can be specified using the -d option.
EXAMPLES
Example 1 A sample of using the strclean command.
This example has the same result as running strclean with no arguments:
example% strclean -d /var/adm/streams -a 3
