Top utility in bash for loop

Dear All,

is it possible to use top utility in for loop?

I am trying to get top swap space consuming processes in my for loop.
I got multiple way (using /proc FS) however have anybody used top command in for loop? Using /proc FS giving solutionbut itrs more complex. Please suggest if anybody has simpler solution

Need help on bash "find" utility

Hi all, I need to write a script "hunt" that is similar to "find" without using "find" in there. Also have to print out how many subdirectories it's got. like if I type: $hunt unixit will show: 2 /home/var/unix something like that. I have no idea how to do the file search without using find... continue [n] DESCRIPTION
The continue utility shall return to the top of the smallest enclosing for, while, or until loop, or to the top of the nth enclosing loop, if n is specified. This involves repeating the condition list of a while or until loop or performing the next assignment of a for loop, and re-executing the loop if appropriate.
