Operating Systems Linux SuSE SLES 11.2 slow SSH password prompt Post 302731525 by j_aix on Thursday 15th of November 2012 08:59:02 AM

When comparing the applicable entries between a working machine and the one having issues, we don't see a difference between their /etc/nsswitch.conf files. Both have:

hosts: files dns

Also, this issue only happens on the first logon of the day, all subsequent logons are normal until a long period of time passes.

NAME
fence_drac5 - Fence agent for Dell DRAC CMC/5 DESCRIPTION
fence_drac5 is an I/O Fencing agent which can be used with the Dell Remote Access Card v5 or CMC (DRAC). This device provides remote access to controlling power to a server. It logs into the DRAC through the telnet/ssh interface of the card. By default, the telnet interface is not enabled. fence_drac5 accepts options on the command line as well as from stdin. Fenced sends parameters through stdin when it execs the agent. fence_drac5 can be run by itself with command line options. This is useful for testing and for turning outlets on or off from scripts.
